Missouri Tigers Clearly The Cream Of The Spread Offense

After the first 5 weeks of the 2008 college football season, it's obvious that Missouri's spread offense lead by Chase Daniel is the most exciting and diverse in college football.

Through four games, Daniel has completed 101-of-133 passes for 1,412 yards, 12 touchdowns and one interception.

Not to mention one of the most exciting skill players in the country, Mr. Everything Jeremy Maclin.

I would have to say this is my favorite version of the spread. I taped the game for reference and I am sure I will tape some more.

Nobody should be surprised if Missouri offensive coordinator Christiansen ends up as the Head Coach at the University of Washington (should the Willingham get fired)...who better to make Locker a Heisman candidate than a former player/coach of the famous Don James whose version of the spread has coaches across the country recording games on TV in hopes of finding a few golden nuggets.
